Former President Donald J. One of the 19 defendants in a Georgia fraud case against Trump and his associates pleaded guilty Friday to five counts of embezzlement.
Scott Hall, 59, pleaded guilty to a Georgia bail bond, Fulton County District Attorney Fannie D. It was a significant victory for Willis, who was called to testify against the other defendants. He got a contract from Hall. As of Friday afternoon, no other defendants had entered pleas; Two of their lawyers, Kenneth Chesbrough and Sidney Powell, are to be tried together starting next month after requesting speedy trials.

Appearing in Fulton County Court on Friday afternoon, Mr. Hall, dressed in a dark suit and open-necked shirt, pleaded guilty to five counts of willfully interfering with election operations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Mr. Hall must pay a $5,000 fine, surrender his firearms license, perform 200 hours of community service and write a letter of apology to the people of Georgia. He shall not participate in any proceedings relating to the administration of elections and has agreed to testify truthfully in all further proceedings in this case.
Asked if he understood the terms, he told Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, “I do, sir.”
