Taylor Swift stops London Eras tour briefly: ‘We need some help’

Midway through Taylor Swift’s heartfelt speech to a packed Wembley Stadium in London on Friday, the singer paused in her thoughts to make sure fans at the end of the catwalk were okay.

“We need some help at the end of the ramp where they’re swinging,” he said before his 10-minute rendition of “All Too Well” during “Red.” “I’ll wait until I see if it’s OK. We’re going there. You guys are the best. Look how fast it went. They really care about you at Wembley Stadium, they should.”

During Swift’s monologues of “Betty” and “Champagne Problems” and in the middle of the song “Willow,” she asked the staff to help fans.

“We need some help to see where they’re swinging out there,” Swift says from her ivy-adorned “Evermore” piano.

The Era’s Tour star performed his first eight concerts to a huge crowd of 88,446 screaming fans. Swift was accompanied by her parents, boyfriend Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce, and Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlin.

Swift reflected on her early concerts in City of Dreams.

“Finally taking the Eras tour to London is an incredible miracle because you’ve been the most supportive people the whole time I’ve been making music from the beginning,” he said. “I think the first show I did was when I was 17 and I started playing at King’s College. Then I played Shepherd’s Bush Empire and from there you just supported me more and more. The rooms just got bigger and bigger.”

The superstar will perform at Wembley for three nights in June and five nights in August.
