Although she didn’t say what specific illness or disease he was dealing with, in the carousel of videos, they can be seen performing certain procedures on several occasions in hospital rooms. In the opening video, they also share that it will be the last two years of their illness before she “relapses” by the time she turns 30.

“I feel like an old lady,” Halsey said. “I told myself I would not be sick for two more years. At 30, I’ll have a rebirth, I won’t get sick, I’ll be hotter and have more energy, and I’m going to redo my 20s in my 30s.

“Long story short, I’m lucky to be alive. Long story short, I wrote an album while marking accounts for the Lupus Research Alliance and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Amidst their health struggles, the Badlands singer revealed that she’s working on a new album and teased its release by dropping a new song called “The End.” In the nearly three-and-a-half-minute long song, she talks about not being heard by doctors, different diagnoses and treatments, and more.
