Following reports that the Princess of Wales has been “out and about” with the family in recent days as she continues her course of preventative chemotherapy, some speculation has turned to when Kate will return to official engagements.
Palace and royal insiders are keen to stress that no official return date has been planned, although some conflicting reports have suggested Kate could return in the autumn and later in the New Year.
However, according to Vanity FairRoyal has recently “turned a corner” with her treatment and is feeling much better.
“It is a great relief that he is tolerating the medication and is actually doing very well,” the release said. “Of course, it’s a very challenging and anxious time. Everyone has rallied around her—William, her parents, her sister and brother.”
It is understood that Kate is in no rush to return to work and is focusing on her recovery, despite last week’s landmark early-year program being the driving force.
Meanwhile, the official website for the royal family does not include a 2016 statement issued by Prince Harry in defense of his then-girlfriend Meghan Markle. Through his spokesperson, Harry had accused the media of turning his relationship into a public spectacle.

A statement from Prince Harry’s spokesperson in 2016 confirmed the couple were together and called for an end to the “waves of abuse and harassment” Meghan was facing.
It cited “racial comments in opinion pieces” and “overt sexism and racism in social media trolls and internet article comments”.

Camilla recalls a ‘fantastic’ night at the theater during a visit to drama school
Camilla made the announcement during a visit to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in central London today alongside King Charles.
While there, he spoke to student Daniel Mays about his role in music Guys and Dolls and said he saw it with his family at the London Bridge Theatre.
“It was wonderful,” she said.
Delighted by the accolades, the actor admitted that he remembered the Queen’s visit.
“I left three months ago and at the end of my run she came with her grandchildren,” he said. “We were only told on the day there was an important royal visit, so we were wondering who it would be.
“It was a high-speed production and we were wondering if she was going to stay in the seat or stand up.
“It was the longest and most exhausting thing I’ve ever been a part of — but a great time.”
