Golden State Billionaire!

The winner of Powerball's second-biggest jackpot prize, worth $1.765B, was announced Friday — five months after the life-changing drawing.

Theodorus Struck was named representative of the group that bought the billion-dollar ticket at the market in Frazier Park, California, for the Oct. 11 drawing. California Lottery announced.

The newly minted millionaire was described as a 65-year-old man in the mountain town of about 3,000 people, who lives just 500 yards from the store. According to KGET.

“He adores his grandchildren,” Struck's neighbor Mary Dryer told the store. “He's really nice to be around. I noticed he posted yesterday: No trespassing.

Struig's whereabouts were unknown at the time of the announcement, and some of his neighbors and his neighbors would not share if they knew.

“I wouldn't tell you if I knew,” Rick Kotnick said at the store, laughing, adding that the two often talk about fishing.

It was not revealed how many people were part of the massively successful team.

The group can choose to pay $1.765 billion in 30 payments over 29 years or choose a one-time cash payment of $774.1 million.

In the Golden State, the winner's full name and the name and location of the business that sold their lucky ticket must be disclosed.

The winning numbers are 22, 24, 40, 52, 64 and the red Powerball is 10.

The odds of winning the Powerball Grand Prize are an astronomical 1 in 292,201,338.

The historic $1.765 billion prize came on the 36th drawing of a Powerball dry spell that earned $18 million in commissions and bonuses during that historic three-month jackpot run.

According to the lottery, “California Lottery has allowed public schools to raise an additional $119.5 million”.

“Announcing big wins like this gives all of our players hope and a chance to dream that they're next,” said California Lottery Director Harjinder K. Shergill Sima said.

“It also gives us an opportunity to draw attention to our amazing work of creating additional, supplemental funding for public education in California. So, students of all ages across the state win thanks to our players, our retail partners who sell these fun games, and the hard-working staff here at the Lottery.” It's an exciting day for all of us!”

The family-owned Midway Market, located 75 miles north of Los Angeles in Kern County, received $1 million as the store that sold the winning ticket.

At the time, employees believed the winner of the historic jackpot was a regular at a store that played the lottery frequently. KCAL

“I didn't believe it at first. I think it's going to be the biggest thing that's ever happened in Frazier Park,” owner Nidal “Andy” Khalil told The Post in October. “I believe one of my regular customers, because we have some people who buy tickets every day.”

The $1.765 billion win falls $28 million short of Edwin Castro's historic $2.04 billion win in November 2022.

Castro was announced as the ticket holder for the largest National Lottery jackpot, and has since added to his impressive real estate portfolio while purchasing several vehicles, including a green, vintage model Porsche.
