Jamie Foxx shared Video on Instagram There he made emotional comments about himself Hospital Earlier this year.
The singer and actor, 55, was hospitalized in April 2023 for an undisclosed reason. His daughter is Corinne said He “experienced a medical complication,” but did not elaborate. In her video, Fox didn’t say why she was hospitalized, but credited her sister Deitra Dixon and her daughter and “a lot of great medical people” for saving “(his) life.”
“I’ve gone through something I thought I’d never go through,” Foxx said in the video. “I know a lot of people are waiting, you know, wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I don’t want you to see me … with tubes coming out of me and trying to figure out if I’m going to make it.”
Foxx also took time to dispel rumors about his health.
“Being still, sometimes things get out of hand. … Some people say I’m blind, but seeing eyes work, eyes work fine. I’m paralyzed, I’m not paralyzed, but I’ve been through — I’ve been to hell and back,” Fox said.
“But I’m back and I’m able to work, so I want to thank those who let me work,” Foxx added. “I just want to say I love everyone, I love all the love I get.”
